This is a fine quality, antique English oak Georgian floor standing double corner cupboard, dating back to the 18th century, and is in lovely condition for its time. The top has a detailed moulded cornice above two cupboard sections, fitted with panelled doors and decorative inlaid sides. The panelled doors open to reveal a bank of shelves with shaped fronts offering a significant storage space. The shorter base has two palled doors enclosing another interior shelf. Teminanting upon a plinth base having canted corners.

The substantial floor-standing antique cupboard boasts a wonderful deep-flamed, naturally rich brown, along with intricate inlay along the side and a stunning figured grain and patination that can only be achieved by years of polish, care, and age.

This original, handsome cupboard would look impressive in the kitchen or dining room or hallway and would certainly grace any home, It is a great investment as it is extremely functional, along with having a purpose.
Condition: This cupboard is structurally solid and sound, and in excellent condition for its age as shown by the photographs; however, being an antique cupboard dating back to the 1700s there are blemishes and wear which shows its originality and heritage. Please view all the pictures
