Date 1880An exceptional late Victorian Jacobean Revival solid oak sideboard, dating from around 1880, beautifully hand-carved throughout with mythical creatures, scrolling foliage, acorns and geometric panels.<br>

This is a truly substantial country house piece, crafted from solid oak with an attractive quarter-sawn oak top displaying wonderful grain. Every visible surface has been richly carved, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship associated with quality Victorian cabinet makers.<br>

Offering excellent practical storage, the sideboard features four lockable cupboard doors (complete with key) opening to generous shelved interiors, making it both highly practical and decorative. The rear is fully panelled, allowing it to stand proudly within a room as well as against a wall.<br>
