Finished in luxurious rococo style, the fine quality French commode has three spacious dovetailed drawers, each with beautifully curved serpentine-shaped fronts and decorative gilt bronze pull handles and escutcheons. with flanking ornate gilt bronze ormolu mounts with an ornate scalloped apron upon elegant splayed legs.<br> <br> Condition: Structurally solid and sound commode with a thick, substantial frame, which is very heavy and in excellent condition for its time.
