Here we have an elegant and exceptional quality Louis XVI style Elbow chair with scroll arms with a curved back upon turned fluted, tapered legs. Lovely comfy lounge chair, with springs intact and a perfect condition stripe ivory unholstery.

The chair has the most beautiful grain and stunning patina on the frame, which can only be achieved by poish, care, and age.

Condition: Excellent condition for its time, and superior quality would have cost a lot more back in the day, aquired from a statley home in Cheshire. Going by the condition, it was hardly used and possibly just an ocassional chair,if not just for show. Slight fade to mahogany on the top rail, this only adds patina and charm to this classical piece.
Cleaned polished and ready for intended use.
