Its tall, narrow proportions offer useful drawer storage within a compact footprint.<br> <br> The mahogany displays a rich, warm colour and attractive grain, complemented by a moulded overhanging top and plain timber sides. Each drawer has a pair of turned wooden knobs, with dovetail joints visible in the drawer construction. An appealing piece for a bedroom, hallway or study, combining understated detailing with a characterful aged appearance.<br> <br> The right-hand upright forms a full-height hinged locking bar. This opens outwards to release the drawers and, when closed, is designed to secure all six with a single lock. A key is present; operation of the lock has not been confirmed.<br> <br> Condition: The photographs show surface scratches, knocks, small edge losses, wear to the base and separation along some timber joints.
