Magnificent Oak court cupboard with three intricately carved panels depicting the birth of Jesus, his last supper and his crucifixion, with flanking ornately carved bulbous pillars to the top sides.
This breathtakingly beautiful and extremely rare, solid English Oak cupboard , has the date 1677 hand carved on the central lower door, with two large profusely carved cupboard doors flanking either side, carved richly of floral carvings, acorns, and foilage.
The upper section of the sideboard separates from the base and as such comes in two parts making moving easier, please note this is an extremely large and heavy piece of furniture that will require four people to move into place, the piece is offered in lovely condition for its time, however, there will be some wear and tear and cosmetic scratches but adds charm and character to this very magnificent cupboard which is a very splendid part of history. Unfortunately, you could not make a piece like this today it would cost too much, time and money.
