Here is a stunning set of quality 8 English antique Victorian oak & brown leather carved dining chairs, circa 1860, in excellent original condition. The chairs are designed with attractive carved backs, incorporating a central floral carved pediment, with diamond-shaped studs along the sides and arched finials to either side. The chairs are upholstered in top quality brown leather, finished with brass studs. The chairs stand on fluted baluster-turned front legs, with sabre legs to the rear. The set of chairs boasts the original polish; therefore, they have a fantastic depth of colour and patination. The chairs would be ideal for use in a dining room or boardroom.

Condition :These Victorian brown leather dining chairs are in excellent original condition. This is a true set of chairs (they have not been matched together from other sets). Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chairs, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The leather upholstery is also in good condition. The chairs boast the original polish; therefore, they boast a fantastic patination and colour, which cannot be recreated if the chairs were re-polished. The chair frames and joints are all in good condition, solid in joint with no breaks and are ready to be used.

See last picture for a slight loss of oak on one foot, which has not structurally impacted the chair.
